I'm an Okinawan American watercolor artist who loves capturing the meaning of "home" through my house portraits. Each piece is hand-painted from my home studio here in Arizona.
As a military brat turned military spouse, I've moved about every 2-4 years of my entire life. That's a lot of houses. I know first hand that each house holds a special place in our hearts, even if we only called them "home" for a few years. No matter how short the stay or how old the base housing, I truly believe that every home is worth preserving as a forever keepsake.
While I'm painting, I'm also embracing life as a stay-at-home mom and spend my free time scrapbook journaling, thrifting, taking care of my plants, and winding down with my husband over a good Netflix binge.
